Mid-America Building Products Maintenance-Free Shutters Offer Great Looks With No Fuss

Mid-America Building Products, a division of Tapco International Corp., is the world’s largest manufacturer of decorative exterior shutters. The shutters are made from a maintenance-free, UV-stabilized polypropylene copolymer with molded-through color, and are backed by a 40-year transferable warranty that includes the finish.

Mid-America shutters are available in Open Louver, Raised Panel and Board-N-Batten™ styles. They come in 14 standard lengths and can be custom-ordered to meet specifications. They also can be ordered in 17 molded-through colors, plus paintable units for custom colors.

Shutter-Lok® fasteners make installation easy. Other accessories that can be ordered include arch-top add-ons, a transom-top add-on, decorative hinges and S-hooks.

Mid-America Building Products offers a wide range of other architectural trim options, including dentil trim, window headers, sunburst, designer windows, window mantels, door surrounds and corner blocks.
